ACERT will be hosting a series of workshops to introduce scientists to Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy. The workshops will focus on teaching the basics of ESR and the application of it to specific research projects in different fields.

Dr. Arjun Mullick, Engineering Manager, Ads Attribution & Monetization @ Meta
Arjun Mullick presented an interactive session on why distributed storage and cloud computing are vital for ACERT’s mission and future projects. He highlighted the key 2025 trends in distributed storage including the explosion of global data, advanced management, and ongoing moves toward multi-cloud strategies that enhance flexibility and reliability. He also discussed leading cloud computing trends directly relevant to biomedical research, such as cloud-native modernization, cost optimization, security enhancements, and the growing role of AI and edge computing.

Dr. Can Zhang, Associate Professor of Neurobiology, Harvard Medical School
Dr. Zhang, from Harvard Medical College, visited Cornell and presented his research on investigating molecules for treating Alzheimer's disease to a group of Chemistry and Vet School graduates and professors. This talk was arranged by Gia Maisuradze.
